PALM WATERING

I doubt whether it is necessary to explain that water is very important for plants on every stage of their life. However you need to know that different species of palms need water in different way. It depends on conditions which have been built up for palm growing such as temperature and air humidity.

The higher the temperature of the air, the more water your plant needs.
It’s important to know that sand soil needs more water than clay soil.

In winter you have to water your palm tree only once a week, but in summer period the plant needs daily watering.

Also the flowerpot is of great importance. The clay flowerpot gets dry faster than plastic one.

For palms watering it is usually used ditch-water of room temperature (72-75°f).
